I was at Borders today and I was looking through some book with the best album covers of all time or something like that, and Bossanova was one of them. I didn't get a chance to read the article about it because I had to go right when I found it. Everyone may already know this. I don't know how old the book was or anything. |

I don't like Bossanova's too much. My favourite out of the Pixies' covers is probably Surfer Rosa's, because of the beautiful pair of tits of course. |

Bowie's 'Low' is a great cover (as well as having a clever visual pun: he's pictured in profile - hence..."Low Profile"?) |

i remember reading an article about the bossanova cover somewhere. it was either in a vaughan oliver biography or the crystal palace programme. the globe and background were all done up and photographed. but they were blue and oliver didn't like it. he had them changed to red. i like the come on pilgrim cover best. the bird with the tits out is fab too. but when you are married you get sick looking at them ;)

Isn't that an homage to the poor feller on the cover of Come On Pilgrim? Do they bald envy the tremendously hirstute? |

Well, I do what I can. After the "TOTY" fiasco, I thought we would never discuss number of posts again. Good to see you've gotten a solid nights rest and are awake, alert, and a-postin'. Cheers! |

my current favorite album cover is the instrumental version of cex's newest cd "being ridden".
since i dont know how to post pictures (im not tech savvy), ill do this: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000093NQ3.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
the cover to the vocal version is exactly the same, but without the tape over his mouth. i just think its a great cover.
