Just recently I came into the realization of how cheap so many magazine subscriptions are...several are 12 issues for $12 or $15 or even $10. Up until now my mom has been getting them for me as a gift (hey, i'm young!) but I've been thinking of adding more to my current rotation of Rolling Stone, Toyfare, PC Gamer, and Readers Digest. I got a free year of Maxim for resubscribing to RS, and I got a postcard for Playboy for $12 + 0.33 delivery and I get a free gift. Maxim is only like $12 a year...I've been looking at computer magazines. Does anyone subscribe to PC World, Computer Shopper, or Maximum PC? How about Spin? $10 for 12 issues...magazines are good!

Jim, check out Magnet, Mojo and Q for some decent music rags.
and nerve.com is a pretty great online mag.
Cheers. |

WIRED, Wire, CMJ, Adbusters.. I used to read MaxPC, but i find all those rags boring and repetative, and it's all online for free a month before it gets printed..
Magazines are becoming redundant, imo.
Stick with Oprah and Martha Stewart. |

And Barry, 'twas little consolation. Two stars for Teenager is criminal. And a cool name for a crappy emo band.
Vagrant Records presents:
2 Stars For Teenager
with their debut album:
"Sparkle Heart"
feat. the hit single "Denied Love"
I can see the t-shrits now... with "2 *'s 4 Teenager" on the front and "TSFT" on the back. I'm off to write some cheesy lyrics for "Denied Love" now.... |

Hey man, I could make a lot of money promoting/producing/being in such a band. It's not anger, I'm just succumbing to corporate rock whoredom. Bring on the dirty jeans, tight thrift store t shirts and dark rimmed glasses! |
