Has anyone ever seen or had a Pixies related tattoo ? If so what were they ? I really want one but i can't think of anything that would look good enough to have on me forever. Their album sleeve artwork doesn't inspire me (not exactly tattoo material), any ideas ?
I would probably have it on my upper arm and was thinking of lyrics but they are all so good i could never choose.

There was a thread a while back.....someone had posted pictures of his & his brothers Pixies-related tattoos...
One was of the Doolittle monkey with the number around him, and another was from Trompe Le Monde I believe. Do a search on the forum, or just dig around...you should be able to find the thread! |

Been considering the words 'Hips Like Cinderella' on the bottom of my back for some time now, still not sure about it, and of course my non-pixie-fan friends havent got a clue hehehe. I think it could be quite cool, any thoughts? |

Yeah i like the sound of 'hips like cinderella' a lot, especially where you are considering getting it. If only i was a girl.

| I've been considering having 'give me white ground to run' tattooed somewhere, I also considered having 13 tattoed on my tit, but I figured that would only be funny for so long. And I didn't really want to whack my titties out in front of the tattooist. Still considering the first one though. |

I got a tattoo of Kim Deal's face on my butt. Every time I take a dump, it looks like she's throwing up after a hersheys and heroin binge.
I'll have you know, Kim would appreciate such bawdy humour.
BTW are all those "13" tattoes Pixies related? I understood that having a thirteened mammary was some kind of gang identifier, and that's why Francis got the lyric from?

I always wanted to get the winged Pixies "p" that is on the inside cover of Trompe Le Monde. It is surrounded by a circle and has a lightning bolt through it. I always wanted it on my ankle but I don't think I would ever get a tattoo but if I did that's what I would get.

I believe that the number 13 is a Hell's Angels sign regarding the smoking of marijuana. If the person has the number 13 tattoed means that they are affiliated with the Angels and that they are a smoker, dealer etc... of marijuana. That is my understanding.

It isn't a picture of me, it's just a photo that a friend directed me to a while ago on one of those indie/emo kid flaunt yourself websites, www.onlyundiesclub.com. I doubt the cherries have any significance other than the girl thought they looked pretty. |
