hi y'all,
if you've been following this thread: http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1243 you'd see two never-before-heard radio shows from 1987 have surfaced thanks to mrbuff. well i got my hands on these two little puppies, and they're just incredible, so i thought i'd offer to trade them with a few people. here are the deails from mrbuff: The first show is from January 18, 1987 and it is pretty raw just like the W.J.U.L. show. Recorded at W.E.R.S. Studios, Emerson College in Boston. Includes a short interview at the end. the holiday song i'm amazed rock-a-my-soul isla de encanta caribou broken face i've been tired build high break my body (acoustic) ed is dead nimrod's son down to the well subbacultcha boom chicka boom vamos in heaven
The second show is from July 5, 1987 and is also from W.E.R.S. Studios. This is a much more polished showing as they have just recorded Come On Pilgrim. Another short interview at the end. the holiday song i'm amazed caribou isla de encanta levitate me cactus build high ed is dead nimrod's son weird at my school subbacultcha i've been tired broken face down to the well brick is red break my body vamos in heaven
the quality is excellent for both, though the latter one suffers a little bit at the beginning depending on what you listen to it on. but the quality of these two shows far exceeds that of the fallout shelter bootleg. since the fallout shelter is rated by most people as A- (that i've found), the jan 18 show i'd rate A/A+, and the July 7 one A. Although, as the fallout shleter is rated too high, the actual quality of these recordings are not this good....but still fantastic.
i have no idea how many people will be interested in this, if any, but i only have time to do a few, so i reserve the right to close the offer at any stage. But hopefully, once these get round a bit, people will have no trouble getting there hot little hands on them because they really do deserve to be spread far and wide.
but yeah, just reply here with some form of contacting address and your trade list or something and we'll go from there...... ..actually it's probably best if you send me an email..
and special thanks to mrbuff for getting these organised....they're fucking amazing!
cheers, Isaac

Those shows sound amazing, and I personally wouldn't mind "treeing" them out to other people on the forum. Here's my trade list:

You'll find my contact e-mail address there. Thanks in advance. tworeeler |
