The Doolittle version or the Purple Tape version? I like the vocals on the Purple Tape better, he seems more passionate in that take. But on Doolittle you got a slicker production. I care for the arrangement on the Purple Tape also. But the Doolittle one seems more Radio Friendly.

What do you think?

i would say that i like the doolittle version more. but sometimes i like the purple tape more. i guess that the doolittle version is probably better as far as production and whatnot but i think that the p.t. version really does seem to have a little bit more heart in it, which i dig. clearly it is just opinion which version is better and i guess that it just depends how i feel at the time. in fact now that i have been thinking about it, i think i have changed my mind. i think i like the p.t. version more.

tough call, both are wonderful

well I like the fact that Doolitle has another verse
P.T. version lacks a good second verse before the chorus

yeah, the format of verses and chorus are better on doolittle. i like 'em both tho.

if anyone says anything negative about anybody i admire, i'll kick 'em in the taco.
and if all you see is violence, i'll make a plea, yeah, in my defence.

The PT versions when he sings the chorus throughout the end sounds like a whole other song. He sings it different and I like the way his vocals sounds. I like the vocal performance on the PT version and it would be the best if he had the same performance on the doolittle version, blah!!!!!!

Tough call for me to make.

I agree with MikeW, though. I really dig the last bit on the PT version.
