OK, now im not sure if there is a list BUT i have heard a few FB songs in tv shows. one that stands out most is the Andy Ricter (sp?)Show. The played the begining of calistan (if memory serves me correctly)when he was walking into work. it was almost too short to recognize but anyhoo, anyone know any others?

Nope, they played the beginning of I Heard Ramona Sing--it cuts off just before the vocals begin. It was a strange context, b/c they just used it as incidental music. |

alhough there is, in fact, a thread like this, is it the end of world if someone brings up the subject again? i mean, i rarely, if ever, go back to subjects that were on the board for a long time. this also gives newcomers a chance to put in their 2 cents without having to read every single post in this message board, n'est ce pas?

I think it is. It gets annoying going over the same exact subjects, over and over and over. It's the ever-revolving door, it's like we hit a point where nothing new can come up and we just recycle old subjects. |

....but, as i said....since this message board gets new members daily, it is no real tragedy if some of us have to "bear the torture" of seeing the same subjects....besides, some may have a new twist on an old subject ( a sort of variation on the theme)....i am surprised you can "bear the torture" of listening to a frank black album more than once.

That is probably true, but the newbies could add this spin on the existing thread unless it's locked, and it wouldn't hurt people to do a quick search to see if their question has been answered before they post. I'm not saying an all-out three hour investigative probe, just a quick "FB TV shows" search or something. El Barto's job is to keep the quality of this forum at the high level it is currently at. Let's cut the guy some slack. |

I made the mistake of asking a question that was asked in Oct. of last year. El Barto locked it and gave me the link to the thread. That works and then the "newbies" or "oldies" can add to that thread.
Ah, simply simple in its simplicity.

Uh, eventually, I don't know if I should post this here or in the "old" thread. Anyway: I saw Jackass yesterday and they played Broken Face, not bits of it but the entire song! Yee-ha!
