This is a game I remember playing on the They Might Be Giants mailing list, and I thought it might be fun to do it here. The object is to pick your favorite Frank Black or Pixies song at every track number, thereby making a sort of ultimate album. For example, for Track 1, you could choose Caribou, Bone Machine, Debaser, Cecilia Ann, Trompe Le Monde, Los Angeles, Whatever Happened To Pong?, The Marsist, etc. Any FB or Pixies album is acceptable, but no EP's (unless you count Come On Pilgrim as an EP; that's acceptable, and I don't consider it one anyway). Anyway, my choices would go something like:
1. Los Angeles
2. Men In Black
3. Velouria
4. Broken Face
5. Here Comes Your Man
6. Speedy Marie
7. Where Is My Mind?
8. Mr. Grieves
9. Wave Of Mutilation (BBC)
10. The Happening
11. If It Takes All Night
12. The Cult Of Ray
13. Monkey Gone To Heaven (BBC)
14. Motorway To Roswell
15. Don't Ya Rile 'Em
After that, just fill in the remaining tracks from Teenager of the Year.
