I saw it on TV (maybe a shorter version) and it looked very cool. They spent enough on it, it better be good. I heard they spent two years on some of the shots for it. Like 2 years for a SINGLE SHOT - crazy. |

I hope they didn't 'Two Towers' it.
(That's my new term, where a cool movie ends up with waaay too many fighting scenes..) |

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Immediatly after the film, I felt it was better than the first, in retrospect, I'm not sure, however, it was still a great movie. The visuals were excellent, the ideas and questions raised continue to be interesting, and it was an excellent "middle" movie of a trilogy. Not superior to the Empire Strikes Back by any means, but excellent none the less. It definately has me waiting for Revolutions. |

Is this reloaded the album, or the movie? =P
IT BLEW.
Why did Smith get so dumbed down? In the first he kicked ass, in this one, the scene with 100's of them...they just ran at Neo like morons...
Invincible heros SUCK. |

I haven't seen it yet - at first I was super excited and now I just keep hearing people say that it was sucky. Hmmm... |

I can't form a definitive opinion of Reloaded until I see the final one. It just sort of finished.
I can say that after seeing a bunch of Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies over the last few months, that the martial arts scenes were pretty dull. Keanu can barely pull them off. If someone like Jackie Chan who has decades of training had done those scenes, they would have been incredible.
I also thought the guy who played Morpheus (can't remember his name right now) did a really bad job. Some actors can make bad dialogue work, but he made it worse. I don't know why he didn't get Shakespearean with some of the speeches. He just droned them out monotone without any dynamics or passion.
This said, I'm definitely going to see Reloaded when it hits the local Imax on June 20th.
