I have a few suggestions:
Frank - Arnie
Kim - Winona
Joey - Vin Diesel
David - Matthew McConnaughy...

| I'm having a dilemna here, if there was a Pixies - The Movie then there would have to be a place for Carl 'Apollo Creed' Weathers, so maybe if Martin Sheen was too expensive then Carl could be brought in to replace him. I reckon The Weathers would make a great Kim Deal. |

Well, I think its pretty clear Frank would have to play himself (kinda like Howard Stern in Private Parts) albeit with a wig for that brief period where he had stringy shoulder length hair (there are photos to prove it..check out alec eiffel website)
Dave Lovering: Timothy Busfield
Kim Deal: Ed O'Neil in a wig
Joey Santiago: Donald Sutherland
Clearly the film would feature cameos by David Bowie, Meatloaf, and Louie Anderson.

| I liked your joke, thomas. Just for the fact it DIDN'T include Kim. I never liked her,even when she was in the band. I thought she was a distraction. I guess I should start the 'I hate Kim' thread somewhere else, though. Oh, hate is a rather harsh word. I should end here! |

I have to say that Hoffman would be perfect match to play Black Francis. He looks very much similar to what Black looked in Pixies days. Red hair and all. I have even noticed that their voice is actually quite similar too...

I'd like to see a film made on the history of The Pixies in a black & white movie type genre - it certainly makes for an interesting spin in my head, with Laurel & hardy as Frank n' Joey and Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon as Dave n' Kim...
