| Yeah, I watched it... didn't miss a whole lot except FB&C's totally making fun of the concept of music videos, which was actually pretty hilarious. They played the Whip It video, a video by Beck, and more which I might be able to shed some light on when I'm a little more cogent. Speedy M, you might remember better than I do? He was on the show with Rich Gilbert (who actually did a fair amount of talking) and Scott "Harris" Boutier. They showed the Pixies' videos for Velouria & Monkey Gone To Heaven - which they butchered the title of, and Frank Black's Men In Black and Hang on to Your Ego. Frank seemed a bit bored, but they all seemed to be making a slight jab at music tv so it was funny too. I was expecting some stuff from Mose Allison or Tom Waits, but I guess the entire band picked a song or two. Anyway, that's really all I have to say about it, but I'm sure I will have more when I'm awake/not half drunk, or failing that, Speedy M or someone else will. |
