I thought we weren't doing 'who starred in what' kinds of things. Not that I really care but if there ARE some rules...? Jim?

i started this one actually.. i suggested that we make questions that you can't just simply check www.imdb.com and get all the answers..

i think it's more fun to come up with questions that you can't get easy answers for.. but wha-eva.. it's all fun and games

floop made a good point when he started the thread. And yes, having topics like "Who starred in this movie" or "movies this actor starred in" is too easy cause one trip to imdb can ruin the game. And yes, it's more fun to come up with questions that make you think a little.

Here's a suggestion - if you want to do a "who was in what" kind of question, you could name TWO actors and ask what movies they were BOTH in together or something. As far as I know, that is not an IMDB-searchable kind of thing....

Didn't we just agree we couldn't do this topic! If you ask me, movies Tom Sizemore suffers a extrodinarily violent death would be a good topic, or movies where Donald Sutherland starts off good or neutral, but then turns out to be the bad/evil guy, those would get you thinkin

I think a topic like "Actors who have been in a movie with Whoopi Goldberg" (for example) isn't too bad. You just have to trust that people wont cheat and use imdb.com.

(I think this is along the same lines of what Psychictwin suggested...)

Yeah, but it just seems so easy and almost redundant. It'd be like saying "musicians who have played on a Frank Black/Pixies album" just basically going through the motions.

Fine, ill think of something else. You are aware though that pretty much every question can be answered with the help of the internet.

What about movies that feature Frank Black/Pixies tracks, that better?

orson welles's first film was made in 41
he died in the mid 80s, and in the 80s he never made a full length film, only 40-50-60-70s, so i guess he doesn't really count

God, i'm such a nerd...

i was thinking that too, but he actually made two films in the 30's. they were short films, but films nonetheless..

so i vote he counts.
