1. New Order-->"Electronic" (Bernard Summer), "The Other Two" (the, uh, other two, you know, the drummer and the keyboard player) and "Monaco" (Hooky). 2. Uncle Tupelo - Wilco, Son Volt, Jeff Tweedy soundtrack album 3. N.W.A. began with "Straight Outta Compton" and ended with four fantastic solo careers - Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, and MC Ren.
I've heard a lot of noise, so I'm going to the stereo store, to get a white noise maker and turn it up to ten. |

This may not count because the band hasn't broken up, but there are 3 side projects from the core members:
4. They Might Be Giants - Hello the Band, Mono Puff and John Linnell solo |

New topic - bands that split up and became 3 bands (solo artists count too just so we get through it, and you can have more than one band with the same person, so the Pixies could be the the Catholics, the Breeders and the Amps. If you're totally stuck, you might be able to get away with making bands up.).

We need a new category soon! This category has been going on way too long. Plus this one is practically a branch off of the last one.
Yet I don't have one to add to the list...

OK I think it's about time we wrapped this up:
1. (Or even Warsaw ya bam)(Joy Division?) New Order-->"Electronic" (Bernard Summer), "The Other Two" (the, uh, other two, you know, the drummer and the keyboard player) and "Monaco" (Hooky). 2. Uncle Tupelo - Wilco, Son Volt, Jeff Tweedy soundtrack album 3. N.W.A. began with "Straight Outta Compton" and ended with four fantastic solo careers - Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, and MC Ren. 4. Siouxsie & the Banshees (Robert Smith played guitar some), The Glove, the Creatures and the Cure 11. Husker DU (Grant Hart, Nova Mob, Sugar) 12. Dinosaur Jr. (J. Mascis + the Fog, Sebadoh, Folk Implosion) 13. The Beatles (Wings, Plastic Ono Band, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band).
OK someone else can start.
