i'm curious to know who purchased the DITS re-issue - including folks who never owned it and people who bought the initial release and then found themselves shelling out more cash for the new one.
and - for those who now own the re-issue - what do you think of the extra tracks? is it worth buying again?

A friend of mine picked this up, so I was able to get a chance to listen to it. I found the extra tracks to be pretty cool as I haven't heard too many FB demos. If your a completeist I'd say pick it up. The tracks are not listed on the packaging, just the sticker on the shrink wrap. So if you pick this up used look for the SpinArt release, not the W.A.R. release for the extra tracks.

i have the original and i did buy the reissue....had to hear it......it is pretty cool to listen to.......if you are into collecting "evrything black", you'll probably want to buy it.....to me, it was worth it.....to someone else, it might just be "hey, these extra traks are just an acoustic ver. of what i just heard" ..... i think they might be his kitchen tapes that he sends to the rest of the band to practice with b4 they hit the studio.......very neat to listen to frank's rough drafts....

I definitely think it was worth it, speaking as one who already had the original disc. Helpful too that the re-release seems to be reasonably priced. |

I had never owned the original, as I got into FB only about 9 months ago. But it is quickly becoming my favorite and I love the "if it takes all night demo"... they're all good though. However, if I had the other one I probably wouldnt have purchased it again....but if you want to know about the quality of the demos...they're all good quality. Interpret that how you want. ~StupidMe |

I got it without having the original (same reason as above and because it is almost impossible to find it unless you go to a big record store which there aren't any of near where I live). The acoustic tracks sound really good and all, but there nothing that special. i still would have gotten it if I had the original if not only just to make my collection complete |

I had the original but lost it so i figured i'd buy the Extra track one when i saw it in a little shop, and figures i found the old one 2 days later....but i'll just give it to someone else
the new tracks are cool to hear once or twice but you wouldnt really wanna hear em over and over, the mastered ones rule. |
