Bowie - "Low" and "HEROES" back to back, makes for good, atmospheric eye-shuttin' music. Joe Jackson - "Body and Soul" Game Theory - "Real Nighttime" Big Star - "Third/Sister Lovers" Frank Black - "Frank Black" Velvet Underground - "Loaded" Bright Eyes - "LIFTED..." Prince - "Purple Rain" Rolling Stones - the second half of "Exile on Main Street"

Shame this thread didn't catch on.
I'm adding Mob's "Let the Tribe Increase"

hmmm... ta eagla an domhain orm anois barra. cad ta cearr leis mo chara!!! :o) nice choices... especially midnight cowboy. love that soundtrack - although the florida song always makes me laugh coz its so crap - but track 4 (cant remember the name off the top of me head) is worth the paying price alone. excellent stuff. cheers.

Cheers Bazza. La amhain bhi pian uafasach i mo bholg? Such a shame my knowledge of Gaeilge is that of an 8 year old but I got the drift of what you said;). Track 4's the cool New York jazz thang isnt it? I love that and the He Quit Me one. I love Florida Fantasy as well, it's serious hardcore cheese! Marvin Gaye and Leonard Cohen should have been in there as well, I really like The Amps, My Bloody Valantine and The Cocteau Twins for droning guitars and melodies, after a night out, lash it in your discman and drift away..... Smockers Delight is the new remix version for all ye olden folk who like to wear flaxen smocks by the way.

I saw it a few years back. I think watching it at 2am made it even cooler. David Lynch is great.
