I wanted to get people's take on the Red Meat comic strip. I love its twisted humor. You guys should check out redmeat.com. If you go there, check the two Dead Clown comics. By the way, does anybody know where I can find Red Meat stickers?

Jonathan Richman is awesome.

I haven't gotten to see it on a regular basis in a long time, but it's hilarious. (I used to live in Madison, WI when the Onion was headquartered there. Good times.)

Red Meat is really good but The Acme Novelty Libary and Jimmy Corrigan the Smartest Kid in the World is the best thing I've ever seen or read, each comic is a peice of art! and I lost a prescious copy of The Onion that I had cause you cant seem to get it here anymore. I did the artwork for a comic thats coming out hopefully some time next month. I have a preview on a micro site that isnt completely finished properly at www.clockworkmonkeymedia.com its in Comics and it's called Malsaine

"to clear the world of direct threats to the US"

It would seem that the only issue in the world is that poor old america is under threat.

Well guys, lets face it, you country has not been at risk, or under threat for a long time. When was the last time your home was broken into by soliders? When was the last battle fought on your ground? There are more lifes in the world which suffer so much more than the americans. The reason so many countries dislike America, is because of its selfishness, and the pride it takes from being such a good country. If these were personality traits which my roomates had, i'd want to move out.

Suggestion; if you want people to like you, don't be selfish, and concerned about your own needs all the time. Use your fortunate position to make a postive impact on the world. America trys to hard to keep itself away from the world. And not hard enough to make it a better place.

It has the highest rate of obecsity, while other people starve to death. Can you really justify that. I know there are good reasons for why this happens, but that doesn't make it right. If the americans reading this actually care, it's time you did somthing about it, instead of just talking it over. I ask you to please be the best person you can be for the world, and not just for yourself.

Um, Richard, I think you're in the wrong thread here. Suggestion: if you want people to like you, quit acting like everybody but you is a fucker. (Thanks, Ebb!) Don't make the mistake of confusing an administration with the common people. If you'll recall, Resident Bush didn't even win the popular vote--you think we wanted him? And as for all the young Americans born post-Vietnam & Nixon, do you think we've ever felt there's much to be proud about in terms of our foreign policy? No one can run for office who isn't already corrupt to the core--how else could you get the massive financing necessary to mount an election campaign? Good God, man, you're in the Frank Black forum--how many folks here do you imagine to be part of the ruling political machine? Everyone I know is just trying to hold on to a job and keep crack out of the elementary schools. I vote and I agitate publicly for change when I can, and I don't want someone on a freaking message board that I visit for amusement chastising me about being a better person. Sod the fuck off.

The Onion rules! I always like Jim's Journal, too. Do they still run that? Mr. Peterson is so cute.

Fans of Red Meat should check out www.maakies.com
Maakies are effin' great! Drunk crows, promiscuous chimps, death, STDs!
The band Red Red Meat is great, too, but that's a different media entirely.

I am so confused. What just happened? I would say English is not Richard's first language cause he clearly read "Red Meat" as "Please Offer Your Opinion on Something Completely Unrelated". Eh?

Mereubu, you rule.

This signature makes me look like i have attitude. The fact is, i don't really know if i do.
