During my continuous search for good music, I came across a classic that has thus far slipped under my nose : "love" is the name of said band. They are very inspirational late sixties psychedelic folk music. Just thought I'd spread the love.

Dude, I love Love! Arthur Lee (that's his name, isn't it?) is the shit! When I was in high school (half a lifetime ago) I bought this big Electrock box set and there was one whole LP side dedicated to Love. (Other fine, fine things in that set included some stooges, Nico, MC5 and other assorted weirdos.) I also have a Rhino Love compilation on vinyl. I love "Singing Cowboy." Thanks for reminding me of them--I need to get some on CD.

Trivia: Bryan MacLean (sp?) from Love is the older brother of singer Maria McKee (of whom I am also a huge fan.)

"And if if you see Anadmoreagain, then you will know Andmoreagain"! I really LOVE Love but they have some really cheesy lyrics(which makes them really fun to listen to) and I just remembered I missed Arthur Lee when he played Dublin last year, shit!

I heard them on the High Fidelity soundtrack first with that great cover of Little Red Book, thier supposed to have really influenced The Doors?
