Just read an article that Robbie Williams is being touted as a possibility to fill Pierce Brosnans shoes when he decides to call it a day..... Obviously some of you may well like Robbie Williams, but to me this seems like a ridiculous choice as Robbie Williams is a complete wanker, who would just ruin the whole Bond thing.... He's just too much of a shiny fuck, with too many people thinking that he's a tosser for it to work in my opinion. What do you guys think??
Personally I'll have someone like Jude Law, or Clive Owen to play the part, they would be much more suited to the part. Oh fuck it, maybe even Paul Hogan for a one off! |

i would never pay to see him mince around for two hours trying to look cool. He'd probably want to sing in it aswell. Slimy tosser. How have people forgiven him for take that????? |

Fuck knows..... surely the makers of Bond know that if Robbie Williams became Bond then thousands of Bond lovers / Williams despisers would not bother with the film... I for one wouldn't.... It would whore out on the other Bond movies, which would be a huge pity.....
Robbie, if you are reading this then don't even think about taking the Bond role, because you are a shiny twat! |

He's very cheesy - is hard to watch him without crackers. I must admit I like the tattoos though, I am so easy. But he can't be Bond! Too young it seems, too shiny (tm Stuart) - so who WOULD be a good bond? |

Is Bond always English? No I guess not. I like Colin Farrel - but he is probably too young and too rough around the edges. Jude Law is a good choice, I suppose. |

robbie williams? that's insanity. they might as well have justin timberlake do it.
jude law might not be bad, i dunno. he doesn't *look* like bond, to me anyway.
for sheer entertainment value i'm going to vote alan cumming. |

Haha! You crack me up. I too have always thought that Bond needed to be more large-and-in-charge.
Mmmmm, Jude Law. I love Frank D., the "OUT at the Movies" critic for the Daily Show. (In his review of A.I., he said, "I wish my parents had given ME to Jude Law when I was thirteen years-old!" Amen.) |

I have edited myself above, Brian--I could only remember "Caro" and not the "De" the precedes it. = ) |

I like Hugh Jackman for the role. I admit Jude could be good, but I need to see him become physically more robust and able to look more like a badass. Jackman has proven his ability to at least be a badass, but then perhaps he lacks the swavay and de boner ness to pull off a Bond. I do think Brosnan did a bang up job in Goldeneye--virtually the perfect Bond IMO.
No matter what, we need an a good English accent (genuine or Australia-based).
Now that I think about it, Jude would be perfect if he could pull off a tougher angle than what I have seen him do.
Anyone else think Star Jones is just a live action version of the clown pipe biker dude from Akira? Cept I sincerely would be more scared to meet that in a dark alley than the fat scary bald clown guy from Akira.

O.K...... I'm shitfaced so I'm gonna write what I want and not be scared to offend anyone.
Russell Crowe........ fuck that, cos he's a shit actor and a rght c*nt.
As far as Robbie Williams goes, if he became Bond then we'd lose the famous and very attractive tradition of the phenonemnon known universally as the "Bond Girls,' because Williams sucks cock!
I rest my case.... |

Haven't the decided the new bond? Im certain a while ago I read they had someone lined up forget who. Bring back Roger Moore we could just have Bond Senior Citizens instead of girls. Just think of the possibilites. |

Funniest, yes. But a little too English for me.
Saw Colin Farrell on Leno yesterday. For his sake, I hope he was either on dope or completely stage-frightened, cause he came off as one off the biggest assholes to recently look really macho on the big screen--and he has a near-perfect American accent.

hey Ramona...Britney sure is "barf-o-ramic" but as a man...i must say i can't blame the poor guy. I mean just look at her ...she's like a walking inflateable doll that you just wanna...well you get the picture. I bet theres not a man in here who wouldn't go there for a night if given the opurtunity. Allthou i bet many would disagree with me now...well, hope i don't come off to much like a pervert
and Jude Law would make a great bond, but is he english?...I never noticed it anyways... and they need to get some of the old directors and writers back 'cause the newer films just plain suck in my opinion

No offense man but did you see the last Bond film? It was fucking horrible the creators/writers of Bond are doing a good job to destroy the franchise themselves regardless of who comes in...
Honestly I think Austin Powers is more realistic at the moment...

James Bond is basically a big cash in these days the formulas can be copied and the special effects easily beaten. Kinda pointless really they need to come up with something more interesting and not just spouting out the same old shit. |
