Can't be any worse than that nu-punk racket I heard the other day.
I have to say though I think Miley totally nailed The Cranberries' Zombie in that studio recording she did last year. I doubt I have have much time for her music otherwise, but credit where due - I think she has talent.
And I think this version is fairly tolerable, if a bit uninteresting. I admire her for trying to mix it in with her music, or this new pop style - which I mostly hate but sometimes it's not bothering me too much
I quite like the way WIMM is becoming a bit of a phenomenon song. It's nice to be able to refer to something mainstream when you tell people you are a Pixies fan and they go, who? Oh you know that advert for.. |
