Lots of good ones to choose from.

I would totally say Motorway, except that's not the ender is it? But I have to admit there have been plenty of times I stopped the tape before Navajo.

My noms for best enders would be:

Brick
Gouge
Don't Ya Rile 'Em
Shazeb
So Bay
Dog in the Sand

Hard to choose.

Anybody have a clear favorite Album ender of all time?

People always seem to forget how much they love Levitate Me, especially at live shows.

I've always loved Navajo as the Trompe ending. It has a similar feel to the way Brick Is Red ends SR to me, musically a kind of odd comedown that pulls the rug from under your feet.

It’s possible that Caribou is the last Pixies song.

There is no last song. Even when you die the music still goes on, you just can't hear it anymore.

Ya know picpic, I thought you might say J Bravo, but you don’t really think it’s superior to Goige or Brick do you?

Took me 3 hours to learn the solo, so it's my favourite song.

Makes good sense

I agree that’s a nice one, but no where near my favorite.

I guess for me it’s a tie between So Bay and Dog in the Sand, two equally awesome songs that are totally different. Maybe Gouge Away would come in third. That’s the last great song to end a Pixies album for sure (IMO).

Upon reflection, I think I might prefer Sing for Joy as an album ender (Honeycomb)
Or Bluefinger (deep and moving song)

Not my favourite but I always thought 'The Navajo Know' was an interesting way to end an album and for a while it was the last Pixies track on the last album.

Fool the world indeed, it was like they knew it was the end and they were giving the world the middle finger.

It's a fun little track and quite different to anything else they did but fits Trompe like a glove.

As for my favourite, gotta be Dog in the Sand.

If it’s just one, then Dog in the Sand. But my favorite pair is Coastline and Manitoba ... followed closely by Cult of Ray and Shazeb Andleeb.
