Hi all

This is the rhythm guitar based on a video of an early live version

Capo on 3rd fret

Bm/A: x0332x
A7sus4: x02030 or x02032 ?
G6: 320030

[Intro]

Bm Bm/A
Today's the day

           G E
That we're closest to the sun

    A D C G
And everyone's invited

Bm Bm/A
But anyway

G E
   Tomorrow comes

   A D C G
In this we are united

[Verse 1]

D F#m
 Favorite line

       Bm G
From a song that'll take you back

D A7sus4 G6
Out of the blue into the black

[Verse 2]

D F#m
 Favorite sign

         Bm G
That the Lord ain't coming back

D A7sus4 G6 E
You break your mama if you step on a crack

[Chorus]

D E
  Good times

         G A
'Cause I know that today is the day

Bm E
  Good signs

         G A
Yes, the Lord has come back today

[Instrumental]

D F#m Bm G D A7sus4 G6

[Verse 3]

D F#m
  Lose your mind

         Bm G
Then you going to lose track

And everyone's invited

Bm Bm/A
But anyway

Thanks !
By the way, BF is definitely using standard 320033 position to play open G chords
Looks like he only uses "G6" 320030 when transitioning from D to G !
(he does the same here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htlNvUdf6X4)

Thanks for the other tabs BTW, I'll check 'em out
And thanks for ressurecting the tab section :-)

near 0:50, you can see his ring finger is on the 5th string, which gives us 320030. However he plays a regular open G 320033 in other parts of the song.

And right before that one, he indeed plays x02030 (I guess this is called A7sus4 even if online Chords Finders are giving various names for that one).

Being that guy with no ear, I rely on videos to find chords (and Chord Finder tools to get chords names)

Happy playing :-)

Hey picpic, Agreed. That's the same video I was using to figure it out but I missed that bit. Nice work for picking that up. Tab has been corrected.

I think he’s playing a G6 chord after the A7sus4. (G6 320030)

Hey picpic, you could be right on that. I haven't had a close enough listen to the official album version yet, and this tab comes from watching listening to a live youtube clip.

It would definitely surprise me if Charles played his G as 320033. I can't think of him ever doing it before. It's what it looks like in the clip, but a G6 instead still works.

What's your take on the A7sus4? Is it x02030 or x02032?
