This is one of the most bizzare things I've ever seen:

If there was a "weird" section on the forum, rest assured, I'd post it there.

Chris.

I like those first reaction videos sometimes. There is one of a guitar teacher who hears Ween for the first time and he's like whaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Found this video, guy's reaction to hearing Bullet for the first time. Slightly amusing, would love to go back to hearing this for the first time.

Watching this must be like people in the 80's watching people from the 60's dance!

What a song Bullet is though.

My word. I had never seen that video of the kids dancing to Frank. Amazing.

this youtube vid is so great! cracks me up everytime......i am wondering what frank is chatting about at the start of the song? i always thought he was referencing dave lovering and wave of mutilation by saying something like "drummer of 15 pounds of sledge?" ..but now listening to it very closely i don't think he says sledge...

this is what i hear...song starts and frank says “i like that... i saw how’d you did that scott...hahaha..like what’s his name man...drummer of ......15 pounds of ....what’s his name..... " any guesses? bullet is so awesome!! i love that song!

Next time they should play Pie in the sky:

So stomp your feet
And clap your hands
Get out of your seat
And do a little dance
Lift up your voice
And sing with glee

the little girl in the green dress just doesn't "get" Frank

Chic-A-Go-Go is a public access show in Chicago. If there is anything we have an abundance of, it's aging hipsters with too much time on their hands. It's a funny concept though. There is a DVD available of "highlights" from the show. I can't guarantee that Frank is on it though.

Welcome, TheUglyLover. For what it's worth, my kids have always liked that song. I guess it's catchy for them. I'll have to show them this hilarious video and see what they think. The guy whose picture s_wrenn captured in this thread just kills me.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

Hey thanks man. It seemed like like such a cozy forum that I had to join. I'm sure i'll make a lot of enemies.

Is this footage from 2006? FB looks like he did when he was in the
Don't Get Me Wrong video, so I think it was last year.
It looks old though.
s_wrenn Posted - 02/12/2007 : 11:01:33
Surely if that guy was a forum member he would have mentioned an event like this at some point. HOW COULD YOU NOT!
He is a lost son of fb.net
Where does he hang his red sweat-band these days?

For a second I thought that footage was from 1983. That was so strange and cool.
Thomas Posted - 02/12/2007 : 05:42:35
I second what Wrenn said. No way I was buying they where dancing to 'Bullet' till he mouthed the words and pointed his finger like a gun. Up until that point I was thinking that someone pulled of an Outkast's 'Hey Ya' with the Peanuts video version using a Frank Black song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGnYw-OuCnI

So strange. After seeing that and listening to the song again, in a strange way, it sounds like a song written for kids. Still cool though.

YOu can see Miles in the back of the crowd, Frank's sound guy...
s_wrenn Posted - 02/11/2007 : 06:59:14
I bet he was the only one there who had heard of Frank before. Everyone else there was like "hey, lets go dance with our kids in a tv studio". But he walked in there thinking "They're going to play bullet? Really? I better get my moves out"
