Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation on the definitive version of In Heaven with Kim’s vocals?

Did they ever do something similar to a session version with no crowd noise? Currently I’m using the 8th June 2005 Cleveland, OH live album version for my Pixies playlist, but I wondered if any were particularly close to a studio version (or just better than the Cleveland performance for any particular reason).

I would ask the same of Been All Around The World, but I know there’s pretty much just the Newport acoustic one, plus I think FB demoed it around the Honeycomb era.

Thanks for any help!

Epic, never heard that

That is pretty special. Don't think it was every repeated and I've checked all the other recordings from Germany from the surrounding dates and all are in English apart from this one.
Here's the entire gig if anyone's interested:

There is actually another recording of this gig as well. They're both good quality, but I could do the other one if anyone is interested.

all i can say, thank god for polio! brian

Paz has, but not that arrangement:

Not a studio version

But I'd go for this one

Has Paz covered this song yet ?

And Been all around from their 2005 show in Boston. Good recording and no crowd noise.

Thanks guys, but I’m specifically looking for recommendations on the version where Kim sings.

Saying that, any celebration or appreciation of the song itself is good too!

Hmm, that's a good question

I love the Kim versions too. Not sure where to find a good one though.
