Hey gang...not sure if this sort of ad is frowned upon, but I have an extra ticket to see Pixies (and Weezer and Sleigh Bells in you're so inclined). Would love for someone with Pixies/Frank Black love to buy it! Plus you'd have the added bonus of sitting/standing next to me!

Anything new played? Anything interesting?

Show was great, they blistered through an hour and 15 without saying a word to the crowd...classic Pixies! I saw the setlist with the unknowns and I didn't take notes and am getting up in age (ha ha!), so I can't figure out what they were...but sadly, no, nothing new played. They sounded pretty good, a couple of goof ups, but it's live music, and I can't play any instrument, so I'm not gonna find fault there.

Was disappointed in the crowd...seemed to treat Pixies as a warmup act, but I knew that was going to be the case going in. It rained hard right before Sleigh Bells played, but was clear the rest of the evening...of course I was under the Pavilion so I didn't melt.

Weezer were fun and I knew all the songs. I know on Pixies/Frank Black facebook group it was trendy to bash them in relation to Pixies, but I thought it was a good show. Interesting set...started off with 50s Happy Days theme, morphed into a garage for In the garage (whoa, heavy), and then a traditional stage for the 2nd half.

And they even did a shout out to Pixies in El Scorcho...changing the lyric "I asked you to go to the Green Day concert" to "I asked you to go to the Pixies concert"

Will continue to try to rack my brain on the setlist. I thought about trying to track but figured, ah, someone will get it. Looking at previous shows, it looks like 22 is the magic number of songs to play...and setlist dot com's 25 includes the 3 unknowns...maybe nothing to see at all?

Are you staying for all the bands or just Pixies?
