definitely nothing wrong with doing both.

can't you get in trouble, though, if you upload someone else's songs to youtube?
ain't got no time for that.

it's educational

The stuff I'm thinking of is FB recordings from the 90s that aren't up there yet, that will end up with probably a couple thousand views at most

You can't get in trouble easily: Youtube algorithm will recognize the track most of the time. They can eventually allow you to use it (like all 1.0 and IC tracks AFAIK), but you won't be able to monetize & gain any money from it. I think the eventual incomes goes to the copyright owner in this case. The algorithm can also simply prevent your video from playing if the copyright owner has decided so (which is the case for all HC tracks). The algorithm will just kindly inform you that you're using copyrighted material and that your video will not be available in any (or some) country.

I don't think Youtube will ever detect acapellas or demos that are not available on the market.

I think anybody who has anything Frank Black should just put it up on youtube.

what is up with all these other sites, downloads, mp things and digital whatevers.

You tube works fine.

If you want to share it share it the easy way, don't make anyone work for it.

If you want to charge for it then that's a different story, your decision.

i disagree, personally.
i don't like youtube, and prefer a digital download in most cases.

I have a contact who's currently working his way through Rock band 4, Where is my mind will appear at some point.

This one is from Rock Band I think. I already had one version with only voice + drums but never heard this one with vocals only.

Just need to find the Rock Band dump in .mogg format (like all Doolittle tracks) then it's easy to isolate vocals. A searched a lot a few years ago and couldn't find anything... if anyone has this...

As far as I know this is the only non-Doolittle track available as multitrack in Rock Band.

@presley1: do you happen to have other non-Doolitte multitracks ? ;-)
