some dude over at waffles.fm has uploaded a few songs from doolittle with the individual instrument tracks (bass, guitar, drums, vocals etc) as seperate files.
no idea how he's done this, or where he got them from.
i've sent him a message asking where these have come from as they're rather interesting.

anyways, thought i'd pass them onto here cause they are quite cool to listen too.

the tracks he's uploaded so far are (he's got the entire album like this apparently):
dead
debaser
hey

first off, here's dead in flac format:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0NP7K8VF
and debaser in mp3:

all i can say, thank god for polio! brian

Is there a chance you could upload the rips for me, please, tro?
trobrianders Posted - 11/03/2011 : 11:15:27
I made audio rips out of them to hear them up close on my ipod. They're enjoyable/informative in their own right. I would have prefered individual tracks instead of the single mix and match tracks (or master tracks as they're referred to) but they're better than nothing. The Debaser link is undeaded, I mean alive again.

Looks like the Debaser link is dead. The Dead link is still alive and undebased.

Hi Benji! Did you finally get the multitrack version of The Sad Punk? Thanks for the previous ones by the way, it was great to hear them.
Discoking Posted - 06/13/2010 : 23:40:16
i've seen these kind of multitracks for other bands before. they were always taken from those games (rock band, guitar hero and whatnot).

it's educational
Don Eduardo Posted - 06/13/2010 : 00:10:34
The Sad Punk is on one of those guitar hero games - can't remember which one though. Pretty likely thats how he's doing them then.

Either that, or he has managed to hack the Rock Band doolittle tracks...since I believe they are multi-track too.

this sounds quite a likely explanation from the conversation i'm having with him (not that i know anything about rock band).
tho it doesn't explain where he got the next upload he's going to do for me: the sad punk!
looking forward to that one.
i'll upload it once it's available.

Very cool Benji - post more if you can get them. I like to see how the sausage is made.
