If you could choose who would play FB in a movie, who would it be?

I might go with Kevin James, but, Philip Seymour Hoffman seems like a better choice.

Why......of course.

But seriously, I bet Paul Giamatti would do a great job at potraying Frank.

He's dearly departed, but I think Frank would have really dug Burl stepping into his shoes...

Frank is the best

Thanks Jimmy. Bill Hurt is too old (and tall and skinny), but they share those weird facial tics that scare and amuse you at the same time.

This is the movies, not real life. In the movies we can write Jon Tiven out of the story!
Carl Posted - 07/12/2006 : 18:02:21
Nicolas Cage can play Jon Tiven.

Kevin James, maybe...

He doesn't look like him very much in that picture, but if you've seen King Of Queens you know what he looks like. If you haven't, google image search is good.

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

Gary Coleman

Don't you see the resemblance?

If Chiklis isn't available, perhaps the great Michael Berryman would be.

Kyle Gass. I don't know who the actress is in the picture, but she can be Kim Deal. :)

It'd need to be 2 or 3 actors. Physical appearance is HUGE in biopics. You'd need one guy for Young Kid To College, then another for Pixies era, and another for now. Or you'd need some freak like Christian Bale to gain a bunch of weight and then lose it; he could play both of the last two eras. Technology isn't close to good enough to realistically (and drastically) change an actor's visage.

I think Christopher Cross could play him.

Except he's like 15 years older than Frank. But still.

Why is having a bald head more important than acting and singing ability? Remember: we have the technology these days to actually shave the hair off fully haired actors. *Gasp*

Crispin Glover was in Bartleby, right? That was a cool movie.

In '87 I had a girlfriend who was fairly obsessed with Crispin. At that time (according to her) he lived on the top floor of the big apartment building at Yucca/Whitley in Hollywood. She said the walls were painted black.
