What a great show this was! They played "Head On" twice - Frank made them play it again, after Kim told him she played it in the wrong tuning or something. That was a really funny moment lol. I can't complain - I got to hear one of my favorite songs twice

You could tell everybody in the band were really enjoying themselves. And man oh man, can Frank still SCREAM those lungs out!

The two cd recording of it runs at 94 minutes. Also, listening to the first disc last night, it seemed to me like the Head On thing wasn't that big a deal. It was interesting to constrast the two versions. The first was fast as hell and, if they hadn't discussed it, I would have assumed it was simply an alternative version they were trying out.

Me too!

Does anyone know how long the show was? Just wondering

I was at the show. That was a weird moment--it seemed Frank was pissed off at Kim Deal, saying "we're not moving on until you get it right," or words close to that. If he wasn't kidding (and I hope he was) that was a real prick thing to say. Probably why the Pixies broke up? Anyway, I couldn't tell the difference between the two versions, so if Kim fucked up, I didn't hear it.

I had so much fun at this show. The head on X 2 was fun. The sound was great at that tweeter center.

Is there a way to get this show? I know disc live isn't doing it - but isn't there another service doing downloads?
