Hey folks!

Here's details of the last planned shows for Nimrod's Son. Like I've said in the past, we're a pretty tasteful act, don't imagine some kinda Abba pantomine act. We just rock the songs and have fun doing it. The plan is to knock it on the head after these dates (for real this time!) since the amazing wondeful original Pixies are back in town and we don't wanna look like we're riding anyones coattails..

The Venue
New Cross, London
Friday 1st October
www.thevenuelondon.com

Belfast Limelight,
Belfast, Ireland
Thursday 11th November

The Ambassador
O'Connell Street
Dublin, Ireland
Friday 12 November
http://www.mcd.ie/venues/ambassador.php3

I'll update the details nearer the time, just thought I'd share the dates. Tickets should be on sale within the next few weeks.

"Slack Francis"

PS: Please no accusations of being a talentless hack, I'm involved in 2 original bands, and I work my fecking arse off!

Yes, most excellent was the Belfast show. I was shouting 'go faster' lots in between 'Planet of Sound' ones.

I kissed Kate's hand at the end and demanded an encore, then you guys toddled off and we rode into the night to get amazingly drunk.

Thanks again!

the Dublin gig was great - a very energetic performance from four exceptionally talented musicians.

Employee of the month is a good example of how somebody can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Thanks for coming along guys! Sorry I didn't get back to you for a chat after the show, the 5 hour trip took its toll on me and I slumped out in the dressing room!

Dublin tonight!

Unfortunately not everyone is as advanced a Pixies fan as you or I, so we do the 'Death To..' stuff, plus a bunch of other album stuff. If I had my way, we'd be doing Build High, Weird At My School and Born In Chicago!

I promise I wont cancel. Last time it was different - I'll pm you about it, but it was family illness, so I really had to go back up north... go on, one more - if I go, I can drag some of my north London friends down there, who enjoyed it last time, and make it a really good last send off. You know it makes sense! (we'll stand in front of the townies)

Ahahahaha. You can't make me.

Chances are I won't be there after all, Doog. I tend to get settled in the pub where we go after work and travelling doesn't seem so appealing after a couple of pints. Plus it looks like everyone's going to drop out, and I don't want to just jump on a bandwagon, I thought I'd get in before the others.

Mel'll sing if you ply her with enough booze, its a given.
