They are playing in Vancouver on Aug 12 at a very small club(500 or so capacity) and I just happened to check an old e-mail account and listed at the bottom of an e-mail from house of blues was "TMBG - on sale today!" This kinda makes up for missing Franz Ferdinand at the same venue.

They're not that big, actually. Only about average height for full-grown American men.

Or, alternatively, they're actual size, but they seem much bigger to me.

But what if they're not? Wouldn't that just be cash down the pan?

I've seen them...they are giants.

I got ticketed BY TMBG! John Flansburgh gave me an illegal parking ticket back when he worked as a parking lot attendant.

Okay, so the majority of this story is untrue, but I'm pretty sure Flansburgh DID work as a parking lot attendant at one point. I don't think they can give tickets, though.

Defo! must see, pick up Flood and Apollo 18 and the new one and you'll probably be set. other highlights that they seem to play all the time are Don't Let's Start, Cowtown, Istanbul.

I recognise that quote bumble, what is it?

Crouton, I saw them at The Newport a few years ago. It was the most civil, non-moshing Newport show ever and very enjoyable.

I saw them in 1996 opening for...get this...Hootie and the Blowfish! It was in a stupid arena...needless to say, I went for the opening act.

August 12th is my birthday. Too bad they aren't in Ohio. That'd be cool. Hmm...

Aww man...

7/2 Columbus, OH, Promowest Pavilion

A little too late, eh? Haha, damnit.

I have seen them a couple times over the years, once at the commodore in Vancouver they had about 300 people doing a conga-line, it was so much fun!

They're playing in Minneapolis this weekend, which is a few hours away, but I can't make it...I've got a kid who was due on the 14th.

I saw them a long time ago. I would love to make it to this one.
