Excepted being a full time FB fan, what are you doing to finance your FB CDs and concerts?

I'm in IT counsulting, but i'm not into in computing at all.
Kind of a cost controller for IT departements in big companies, drowned in figures, and fighting with Excel.

Wow a lot of things have changed in my life in 13 years.
I'm now a Poker Floor Manager.
I Love my job. The major setback is the nightly hours and the hectic schedule which are tough for the family.

There was nothing like checking the forum for updates and seeing VoVat had punned in 13 straight threads.

When I joined, I was an opinion editor at a newspaper. I worked in a department of 12 people. I'm still an opinion editor at the same newspaper, sitting at the same desk. But we're a staff of four after a decade off buyouts, layoffs, etc. I imagine I'll eventually join benji when they finally close down our "mine."

...and now I'm not, and haven't been for a long time.

Reading through these old posts feels strange, I miss VoVat. Well, I miss lots of people from this forum actually, but VoVat disappeared before a lot of other regulars did if I remember correctly. Does anyone know what happened with him? Or any other regulars who aren't around anymore?

I work for an Oil and Gas Company, the same one for the past 9 years. Only working part time here now due to the slide in oil prices.

ah, the memories.
i'm currently an unemployed bum.
worked my way up the corporate ladder to be managing 20-odd employees and earning quite a large amount of money, but then the gold mine I was working at closed down, which was planned, so i was made redundant. Now I'm on the dole having a bit of a holiday.
what I'll do next, who knows and i'm having far too much fun at the moment to even care!

Okay, that's my real job. I'm on call these days though. I only work once a week or less if there are no vacations, people calling in sick, etc. going on. They keep sending those forty hour checks though.

Yeah, Norwich in Equatorial Guinea. It's right here, on my map drawn by Cole Porter.

No. If it didn't happen in the first 7 or so seasons, I didn't see it. And if it did, that's so long ago that I've forgotten.

The latter, then, considering it was from Season 4. The episode in question was "Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie."

In High School I did an oral presentation about Earl Warren and I even attended Warren College at UCSD (named after him), but I never realized he was a Spice Girl (or a geologist).

benji, you just contributed to the makings of a future geologist (or Spice Girl). Her reaction to what you said about your job? "Well that sounds like a good job! Maybe sometime we can open the rock with the gold in it!"
