This is one of the songs I try to use to get people to listen to FB & the Cs, sometimes Bullet or Robert Onion as well. This tune used to make me tear up.

So far, I don't think anyone I've introduced the band to has taken to them; I'm not surprised as even for someone who loved the Pixies and his solo material it took some time for me to appreciate the nuances of the tunes, the seemingly bland sounds just temporary unfamiliarity. And then-wow! This is a great song. Heck, this is a great album!

I don't blame people for not wanting to give the tunes (if they even listened to them( more than a single listen, I don't even know if I ever took to music people suggested, usually one has to find these things on their own.
