I just listened to all 7 Pixies albums in order straight through on a drive from NYC to DC.
In 30 years as a Pixies fan I'd never actually done that before I don't think.
It was interesting to notice how Indie Cindy fit right in as another Pixies album, but Head Carrier was like, "whoah, what is this?" It sounded way different than the others, but IC blended in nicely.
Anyone else ever listen to every album straight through in one listen? |

I think everyone should nerd out and listen to all 8 in row once BTE is released.
Doing it while driving (on 9) is a nice way to do it. |

Not in one hit - this is the height of nerdery but my go to Pixies listening is a playlist left on shuffle but it only features the songs I've actually seen them play...
Some of the HC stuff does stand out in a way IC doesn't though.. |
