Mrs Benji has decided that she doesn't want to come to the concert so i've got a spare ticket for next thursday night's gig here in London.
Not only would you get to see an awesome concert, but you'd get to meet Cheeseman and GypsyDeath to boot.
go on, someone wants too.
we don't bite.....well mel might, but that depends on how drunk she is.

yeah, the gig was really great...
very glad they turned up kristins guitars during the 2nd song cause man it was far too quiet before that.
seems that overall the new songs don't rock-out as much as the old ones, but that might just be cause i wasn't familiar with 'em.
loved the short set too...but am still knackered today tho!

ahh it was damn marvellous! the worst thing about the night was that we couldn't all sit together, due to their weirdo layout... the catchphrase of the night (or at least what I heard the most times) "oh YOU'RE cheeseman!" |

Well, that WAS good.
Actually a bit freaked out. I've seen KH and the Muses play a few times before and I've never seen that level of scary.

it is going to be fab! I should get stage times at some point today (I hope!) but the two support bands are Amusement Parks On Fire (sort of MBV'ish apparently) and The Subways (three piece, young people, garagey) - not sure what order they're on though.... |

oh there'll be plenty of 2's! I reckon (unless there's something going on on Clapham Common) I'll be there around 7.10 ish, or 7.30 at the latest - Shaun will be there though, do you have his number? You could call him if you're on your own... Wetherspoons has all manner of ok beers... Stella is at £2 a pint at the moment too, which always goes down well in my book!

Isaac, I got your email this morning and replied to it... weirrdd! Maybe there's a problem with your server at work? (I'm sending and receiving other emails ok!)
the other good thing about the Wetherspoons pub is it's nice and large, so you can find people easily... with the cheap food (two meals for £5.79 especially) being an added bonus! Plus Thursday nights is Curry Club night.

Yup, the Garage gets pretty toasty. I may be able to coerce colleagues into avoiding the usual haunts and trying the Wetherspoons - cheap food might be a factor there...

excuseee meeee! I will be down the pub, but it's my turn to drive home tomorrow night :)
we'll all be in the Wetherspoons pub around the corner from Highbury and Islington tube - walk towards Union Chapel and you'll see a McDonalds, and the pub is next to it...
so we should all just meet up and someone should go to the venue beforehand and see who is playing, whether there's two support bands etc. If it's anything like last night, TV On the Radio didn't come on until around 10.00, and only did an hour... I'm not sure how long 50 Foot Wave play for... but I bet they're on at 9.30 ish... if it has sold out then I might wait until they're due on, before heading into the venue... for airspace more than anything :) |
