I could really use to have access to this forum more often. So many rockin' people here. I only get to check the forum when I'm at school nowadays, and I end up spending a few hours just shitting around online and periodically refreshing the general chat window to see what people have responded with. I don't know why this place is so addictive. There's just a lot of good opinions and information found here. When I'm at home and am disconnected from fb.net and therefore not distracted by it and can actually focus on the world outside of fb.net, it just ain't right :) Here's a toast to yah'll.

I haven't heard of the forum causing cancer or having side effects, so it's probably one of the better things to get addicted to.

You are still at school!? Damn, you seem a lot older than that.

i only smoke 2 or 3 or 4 a day.. but it seems even harder to quit for some reason. (sorry to derail thread Tar Tar).. i almost don't feel that bad about smoking that much. but then, i'd rather not smoke at all. and when i drink i smoke a lot more..

I quit for two years and fell off the wagon and then quit for three more years and then at xmas time I started again, but only 1-2 a day. I quit again two weeks ago b/c 35 is the arbitrary quit-smoking age I set for myself. Funny, it used to seem so far away. . .

i'm going to quit by the end of the year..

or not

Hehe. These,
but only 1 to 3 a day, if at all. I had quit for about 18 months. I imagine this is just a short relapse. Hubby smoking again doesn't help. ;)

This forum on the other hand, I don't think I'll ever be able to leave. (see what I did there?)

I too, although I offer very little subtance, am addicted to this forum...and nicotine (Camel Lights - almost pack a day - almost two on a drunk)..and alcohol...and caffeine...and sex...and pornography...and air cooled Volkswagens...and music...and food..water...air.

Ok, define 'addiction'. ;p

From the age of 18 through 22 I was heavily addicted. Now, in the last few years, I can't say I've quit, but they certainly don't do what they used to. I've quit for a couple months at a time, just didn't really want cigarettes for awhile. Then I'll get a craving and cave. Still, I can't smoke cigarettes during the day, when it's light out. It just feels gross. And even at night, they taste like shit most of the time. However, if I'm drinking, I can't get enough cigarettes. Nobody has ever said or felt that before.

Awwww! The feeling is mutual.
I'm horribly addicted to my imaginary friends, and I'm not good at quitting anything.

Did I mention I started smoking again?
