Boo FUCKING HOO
I have been raving about this new flat for weeks, it's such a great flat, I'm in sheffield now, and the flat rules!
The area however SUCKS ARSE
We were told it was a great area, moved my flat-mate in friday, and then there were three shootings in 12 hours on the next road along, making (I have now discovered) 5 in a month.
There are armed police trawling the streets round my flat and 'cos it is I think Divali (sp??) there's fireworks going off all night and it all sounds like guns to me
I should be back at work in birmingham now, but I have to stay and look for a new flat, and I don't want to leave this girl alone, how fucking GRR do I feel right now!
Really grr

We're staying! Hurrah! Hurrah hurrah hurrah! loads of people got charged and stuff so we feel happier, plus the flat is huge and cheap and convenient and we have emotional attachment to it now.
All I have to do now is pack up the old flat, booooo

GLC are amusing taffy chavs. End of. And they lisp. They're not scallies though, thats liverpool.
There's no luck on the new flat front, but there has been a series of raids and a few people got arrested, and I'm more inclined not to move now, it was probably drug crimes and at least I know the supply in the area is good now!! Just kidding, drugs are bad.
Mike, Yeah, bye bye deposit hello big financial pain in the arse, pain in the arse in general, but I'd rather be broke than shot! I'm hoping I can talk my housemate out of moving, I just cleaned the kitchen, it took me hours, the girl who lived there before us was DIRTY in a not good dirty girl way

well I scooted out that two shootings occured within houses on the next road down (1 friday, 1 two weeks ago) probably drug related/revenge shootings
Two occured in clubs down the road, not likley to ever go there, not bothered
The clincher is this...
19 year old man shot in the street at 1pm in the afternoon, BROAD DAYLIGHT, screams drive by to me, and tre doesn't really need to be around that, the flat secure but I don't want to be twitchy everytime I leave it

Before finding a new place, though, call the cops and talk w/someone in Crime Analysis. (I don't know if it's called that in the UK)
They'll tell you the who/what/where/when/why/how of crimes in any given area.
