What do you lot know about this guy? I've heard the name a few times, and now I hear him doing a cover of Straight To Hell by the Clash which is lovely.
Anyone fill me in a little?

Kind regards,

I love some of his records. Under Cold Blue Stars is his best in my opinion. Some of the best tracks are Christmas With Jesus, Nothing Gives Me Pleasure and Feeling No Pain. His first album Dressed Up Like Nebraska is a bit less produced (which you like hey Simon?) but the songs not as good. The title track and Late Night Conversation are excellent songs.
His last and most acclaimed album, 1972, is produced and arranged to sound like a record from the 70's. I'm not too keen about it.

I'd love to hear his Clash cover. One of my favorite Clash songs.
