My friend loaned me an indie CD and I'd like to make a copy of it. The tracks are all .cda format.

Is this possible? Do I need some kind of special software to convert the tracks to something else first?

Thanks!

Why are you copying an indie CD?

You really should buy your own copy you naughty person.

.cda is what Windows lists for tracks on a cd, it's just a plain old cd.

What copy program do you use?

Most CD burning programs have a copy CD function. That's all you should need. You can generally burn a copy with one CD-ROM drive too, provided you have 1 GB free or so. Otherwise, you need to "rip" the CD to your computer (I'd just do it in WAV format if you have the space) and then you can burn it with those wav files.
