It was the first Hamsun I read, ages ago. Led me to read another three or four of his novels, which are stylistically consistent with it but quite different in subject matter and emotional tone. Read "Pan", a wonderful, somewhat saintly short novel. Hamsun won a Nobel in Literature, for "Growth of the Soil" I believe. But then it used to help to be Scandanavian when it came to Nobels.

i liked american splendor it was entertaining, but 'crumb' was more interesting.

i dunno why some of you retards are obsessed with the idea of me having duplicate accounts but i have never and would never do that kind of crap. more likely it's swimmer again or something.

It was well made. His story isn't exactly that interesting not much more than anyone 'normal' but I guess thats the idea.

I saw American Splendor, an interesting flick. I liked it, though I wouldn't say I loved it...
