The Comedy Whorehouse, the improv comedy troupe I belong to, was featured in this week's issue of the Weekender, the local weekly entertainment magazine for the area. We got the picture on the front page (a picture of one of our better comedians singing) and a somewhat short 2 page article (with 3 pictures...one of 2 of the comedians, Calvin and Art, one of this new girl Jess who isn't even that funny, and one of audience members laughing). I'm somewhat spiteful that neither my name nor picture appeared in the article. I did a good standup set too (well, half of it killed, half of it was bleh). There were 3 of us that performed that week that didn't show up anywhere in the article. Oh well...maybe next time. This week's upcoming show should be pretty huge, though.
I guess I just wasn't made for these times. |
