Small world - I know a couple of the guys that run it, so I was just going to recommend that site for the RFTC shows. The Rodan, Oxes, Slint, and Fugazi shows kick ass too. Great stuff on there!

edit:
P.S. I love your TMBG banners. Very nice work.

When I sent them those RFTC shows they were supposed to have taped and were going to post a Sultans show. Someone they know out in Cali. Maybe see were they are with that for me.

Which album has "Beautiful Machine" on it?
Not sure. It doesn't sound familiar, but I don't have all of their albums yet.

Caught up chasing everything I`ve ever wanted
I replace you easily, replace pathetically,
I flirt with any flighty thing that falls my way.
But how I needed you, when I needed you.
Let`s not forget we are so strong, so bloody strong.

Oh man am I glad you found that to be an rockin' show. They kicked ass and were so on the money that night for only having played one other show this year. They did keep their set short, time wise, but it's amazing that they still hammered through 18/20 songs in 1 hour. You should run out and grab the Circa:Now! Re-issue and Group Sounds. Or go to www.transmission3000.com and download a few of their past shows. I made sure they have at least one show from every major RFTC release.

I generally have to listen to albums turned all the way up, because I can't hear them over the train otherwise.

Other than that, Mogwai - Songs For Happy People

Underworld - Born Slippy

Sorry, just saw I misread the topic and you're looking for albums....

Nevermind. Used to listen to that at top volume back in the days when I still listened to it.

Spoon's Kill The Moonlight is really good when played loud.

I play everything too loud...but there is one album that the louder I play, the more I hear: My Bloddy Valentine's Loveless. Try it! Many more parts reveal themselves at high volume. It's the weirdest thing.

FB albums to be played at minimum volume:

- Cult of Ray
- Brown album
and, to a certain extent, Pistolero.

Doesn't Bowie's Ziggy Stardust mentions "To be played at maximum volume" on the cover?
