Posted - 07/16/2004 : 22:26:06 For those of you who recommended Dylan Dog to me, I finally got an issue at a local comic store today for $1. It's issue 3 of 6 in a series of small TPBs put out by Dark Horse in English translation. Though it's #3 of 6, I understand they are all stand alone stories. I read and through and really dug the art and pacing, though I'm not sure I quite understood the ending. The story is called "Memories of the Invisible World." Anyone read it? Anyway, I thought I'd mention that I finally found one. I plan to track down the other 5 English versions too and look forward to more "otherworldy" stories as this one seemed more "normal" than is the, um . . . norm for this series. Really great art though. Great shitty, urban sketches.

Posted - 08/08/2004 : 00:58:09 Ok, so I read 4 more Dylan Dog comics and enjoyed them all a lot. I also read a Martin Mystery which was pretty good and I have another waiting to be read. So I've read (DD) Johnny Freak, Return of the Monster, Zed, and After Midnight and (MM)Destroyers of the Past.
I'm still looking for Morgana (#5 of the Dark Horse DD series) and the first one with the zombies. I'm trying to figure out where "Zed" fits in with their publication run.
Should I pick up Nathan Never too?

Posted - 07/17/2004 : 03:59:31 "memorie dall' invisibile" is the original tittle (no 19 of the original series). and yes most DD are stand alone stories, except a few (less than 10) that are in two parts. pitty though that they translated only 6 of them. the first 20 stories are all fantastic the rest has ups and downs but it's worth it. just got this month's issue of DD numbered 214.
