My grandfather died on my 21st birthday, almost 3 years ago. And I was working third shift at the time and worked shortly after midnight on my birthday and had to work the following night, too. I didn't have much of 21st birthday. I didn't even go out to a bar until about 3 months later.

Happy with 28 so far. 27 wasn't bad, but it started 10 days after my gramma had passed away and one day after her memorial service, so it was kind of sour from the start. But I also saw Frank twice (from very close), spoke to McDave, traveled to the UK, met my lovely Ten Percenter, got a new job, watched some good friends split up, fell in and out of love, blah blah blah. Good and bad, ebbs and flows, baby.
I have high hopes for twenty-eight. I will keep you posted. Thanks for asking.

Oh, LBF, for my birthday I got many lovely presents - a lot of boxes for some reason (including a lovely red leather jewelery box), a t-shirt which says BUXOM MELONS (I think it was kind of a joke), a pink purse with a cat on it, some CD's, and various other small tokens. Gotta say though that so far the best things were what I bought for myself.
Changed my signature too, in honor of the new age.
