Man, me and my wife were lucky...our daughter started sleeping through the night about a month after she was born. Now we have another one on the way...this one will be the nightmare child, I just know it.

Another thing, my daughter never breast-fed, so it was totally fair game for me to be the one to wake up in the middle of the night that first month to feed her. I remember going for drives around the block at 3:00 a.m. trying to get her to go to sleep, because back then she would conk out whenever we were driving.

Take me, break me, tell me a good one and maybe I'll cry

gary13th Posted - 07/24/2004 : 15:28:02
cheers again guys.
lack of sleep. she wakes at 11, 2.30 and 5.30 for feeds, so its going to be fun going back to work on tuesday !

i'll be the life and soul of the party with all the funny nappy-esque hilaritys that have gone on all this week .....

http://english2american.com/dictionary/c.html#chuffed

chuffed adj. Someone who describes themselves as being chuffed is generally happy with life. You can also get away with saying you are unchuffed or dischuffed if something gets your back up

Many congratulations to you and your wife, and the best of luck properly educating her in music.
