Twist, what is "satirical yet friendly" furniture?
Do you design chairs that break when someone sits down, yet include an airbag?

It's not laughing at your furniture, just nearby.

A. Film/media Student / work in telesales / supposedly have a music promotions company thats on 'hold' til my partner sorts her self out...

B. Where Do I start? Music biz- Band Manager would be ideal. Also own a really cool little venue...but thats more unlikely. A&R and promotions im very interested in too.
Film biz- Editor (FLOOP im so jealous!!!), director, producer, fuck, id do any thing, but they are the three that id love to do. Television would be cool. Id love to be a live show director. Very stressful, but so exhilarating.

Any thing in the media id absoloutely be happy to do. Ive done quite a bit in journalism, and alhtough i can do it, decided its not quite for me. Radio ive dabbled in,...nothing can beat film though.

Just thought I'd throw that in there...

Yeah, I was also saying to Tre, how much I wanted to sleep with Ripley in that film.

Although, to be fair, those aliens are fascinating creatures. I just was inspired by the beauty of the shots in space.

Alien inspires you to become an astronaut? Hmmm, you must be into the captain Ridley kinda woman then because everything else in that film makes me not want to go into space.

I was just saying to Tre last night, that I want ot be an astonaut again. It was after watching Alien. Space is the most amazing thing ever. Beautiful.

Sounds like a good idea.

I've been a bit like Pfeffa and not done too much lately. Work as big as possible with housepaint! Yes, house paint - sometimes oils but pots of paint from the hardware store are my new thing. Trying to get myself sorted out with space to paint at home (somewhere I won't drive my husband mad) at the moment but just moved into a new spot and there is one hell of a lot of stuff to sort out first.

(Thanks Surfer Rosa! I'm thinkin maybe we should have a "share your art, music, writing, etc." thread? OK, pfeffa -sounds fun!)

I wish I knew anything about art. I've really tried but I think I just will never know much about art.

Thank you for the compliment! I would really like to see your work too -do you have any pictures of it? We might try the gallery hop next month as well, if we are in town (but I think we may have to be at a family reunion that day). Thanks for the heads up about the Arts Annex. I neeed to be around other artists again, and may start taking some classes at OSU soon. It's hard to stay inspired when you can't have a dynamic environment.

Please feel free to email me sometime, if you guys want to wander through a few galleries or something!

Yeah, I'm a big fan, too. Some great stuff in there. It's always exciting when she puts something new up.

Why only photographer on the weekend, though - just get a small digital camera (which likely means no optical zoom, but what can you do) and carry it around with you all the time. There's picturesque stuff during the week, too!

Apl, your work is amazing. Your style is so unique. Now, I feel inspired.

I haven't shown or been "published" since college. I should get off my lazy butt and make some new stuff.

Maybe I'll go to the August gallery hop? I usually try to take photographs on weekends. I will keep a look out for some interesting art activities.

There is a place called the Arts Annex that will start up open studio nights again in a few weeks. They have models and charge $10-15. I am definitely going to do that.

b. everything other than a day job, I want to do basically the same thing as El Barto (see above) but I'd also like to meet a girl (woman, whateva) to have a wonderful relationship, if I had that, I would be absolutely complete, (you asked what I want, not what I need, I am perfectly fine being single, there's just a lot of love in this little heart of mine, and some lucky girl is missing out on it)
