Especially playing an instrument. I can't get enough of it. The joys are endless, writing songs and the like. If you play in a band, you get to hang out with your friends (for the most part) and just have a great time together, playing music. It's just enjoyable. Anybody else think that way?
P.S. - This is my 1000th post...feel free to congratulate me all you want.

Does anyone here NOT like music? I mean, why would we be reading a Frank Black forum otherwise? Because we enjoy his fashion sense?

Music is awesome because it's an expression of the human mind and spirit.
Or maybe just because it is. Sort of like Apple Jacks.

One wonderful thing about music is that it can be a celebration, like fanfare played for important milestones reached. Like when you're driving, and there's a 1000 mile mark on the side of the road, and you know you're really close to the next rest stop after 6 hours of a road trip where you ate a bad quesadilla and drank WAY too much coffee and Mountain Dew, and you got held up at the railroad crossing by a freak train derailment.
