Posted - 07/06/2004 : 16:30:27 Has anyone tried this clearcoat? My neighbor got a gallon and has put it on everything. It feels awesome and it’s just a clear, one coat and your done. It says on the webpage that it’s the same stuff as in cars on the radio knobs etc. <SPAM LINK REMOVED - But feel free to make fun anyway> |

I still don't understand how someone went through the trouble of registering for the site to post that. They must be incredible stupid and desperate. |

Posted - 07/07/2004 : 07:27:30 LBF you are wrong,
The UK sherbert is not sorbet like in the slightest, it's a powder that makes a fizziness when moistened hence the common use by dirty bastards for masturbation and oral sex purposes. I don't think you should use clearcoat in the same way, I feel this would numb rather than heighten any sort of climax
not that I would know about this sort of thing though ()

sherbet = The origins of sherbet can be traced to a popular Midlle Eastern drink (cherbet) made of sweeteded fruit juice and water. Today the term sherbetcommonly refers to a frozen mixture of sweetened fruit juice (or other liquid such as wine) and water. It can also contain mil, egg whites and/or gelatin. Sherbet is lighter than ICE CREAM but richer than an ICE. See also SORBET.
sorbet French for "SHERBET," which Italians call sorbetto. Sorbet is sometimes distinguished from sherbet by the fact that it never contains milk. It's also often a softer consistency than sherbet. Savory or lightly sweetened sorbets are often served either as a palate refrsher between courses or as a dessert. They're sometimes also called ICES or GRANITAS, though both of these mixtures are generally more granular in texture than a sobet, See also SHERBET
So there you have it. Are you in love with me yet?

Posted - 07/06/2004 : 19:59:08 I used to smoke, and it REALLY pissed me off when my coworkers came by with the can of clear coat.
I've tried this Soft Feeling shit. Way too captain-and-tenille for me. I have to mix it with sand and/or pea gravel to get any satisfaction with my surface treatments.

Posted - 07/06/2004 : 18:13:50 We just spray-painted a "smoker" at work, and we covered with clear-coat, in the spray can. I don't see what the big deal is... it's just fucking clear-coat... it's paint.. you can buy it just like spray paint... I'd find it hard to believe it's anymore toxic than paint itself... fuckers

Dang man. I was really needing some Alsa Soft Feeling Paint coating that is applied by using conventional spray painting equipment. And look! All the info I could have ever possibly needed is right here at frankblack.net - who woulda thunk it?

Posted - 07/06/2004 : 17:46:45 yeah, the Chemical Resistance rating is a big red flag for me. they almost had me. but that "very good" rating is awful suspicious next to all those "excellent"'s. |

Posted - 07/06/2004 : 17:30:21 That's great that its abrasion resistance is excellent.
I'm only skeptical about its chemical resitance, as it's only very good.
