I was never really into Transformers, but I saw the movie, and there was a Decepticon called Astrotrain. Was that it?
My brother used to like the Brio trains, when he was young. Younger than he is now, I mean.

Did you have the best dad ever, or something?

Life over here is just fine thanks!

Posted - 06/29/2004 : 13:39:27 No, nothing like paste. But I do remember the smell of paste and PlayDoh.
It may have even been the little slot car tires heating up. |

I never really got into trains, but slot cars were fun for the 30 secs they would stay on the track. And, I love the smell of slot cars. Anyone know what I mean? Something heats up with those things and produces a burning electronic smell combined with a little oil. Mmmm, childhood.
I'm not familiar with that childhood smell. Does it smell/taste like paste?

Posted - 06/29/2004 : 13:24:05 I still have my trains and the tracks stuffed in a box somewhere but I don't know anything about this Brio stuff. Mine's Lima trains. Best toy ever.
Uhm LBF, where did you get the "liefde botsing" from? Two often used words in Afrikaans.

Posted - 06/28/2004 : 23:31:04 Man, I used to collect model trains, HO Scale of course. My mom used to get onto my case because I used to want to buy the HO scale ballast and shit. She would always tell me that it she wouldn't pay her hard-earned money for gravel. (which I guess it was.) But it was HO-scale gravel, dammit!
Uh..if my topic's waaay off, then I'm sorry...yeah.
LBF, your posts are like me trying to read a book in Spanish. I have had a couple of years of Spanish in high school and college, and for that reason it makes some sense, but I never feel like I'm getting the whole gist of it.
Take me, break me, tell me a good one and maybe I'll cry
