I went and had a quick look through peoples bios. With a bit of cunning investigation, I found out that apl4eris' middle name is Bronwen. That is so cool.
Mine is Neil, which is my dad's name. His middle name is Herbert, so I feel quite fortunate.

So do you have a middle name? What is it? Do you like it? Does it have any special significance?

Hi, I'm Lisa Marie.. because, well I don't think I need to explain

Until I was 14, I thought my middle name as spelled "Damion". I think. That or "Damian," but I'm pretty sure it was the 'o'. Either way, I didn't see my middle name much so I just guessed it. Then my mom saw me write it that way and corrected me. Good to not know how spell your own name when you're 14.

My favorite middle name right now is Jean, because of who it belongs to

I'm trying to convince my freind Laura, who is 4 months pregnant, (I just found out, she aborted when I got her pregnant, long story[how's that for awkwardness??])-

to name her baby's middle name uh: Carey, Cary, Carrie, Kari... one of those...

because her husband and I grew up and are still freinds with a dude dnamed Cary, who is a vet, and we lost a friend in a tragic accident about a year and a hlaf ago named "Carey Joan Olive," I don't know if she's gonna do it or not, but I hope she does. Not that anyone cares... hehehahah

Kari was a girl who moved away in 4th grade (I'm in I'm in 21st grade, now, but I got held back a couple years) hehehahahahh....

Carrie is too Stephen King

I hate myself.

Bathsheba would be a cool name for your kid

Hey it's in the Bible. I think I had a great great great aunt (the west virginia side) who was named that.

Mine is Alexandra, I actually prefer it to my first but don't go by it or anything.

I'm going to call my children Paisley and Calvin (I did consider salvatore for a boy but decided against it)

Yoder's a family name, i think my great grandmother's maiden name. it's swedish, methinks. i guess it's a typical amish name, because everyone asks me if i'm amish. har har, i say. good one.
my siblings and i have maiden names as middle names. my brother's is lanier, which is my grandmother's maiden name, and my sister's is leonhardt (pronounced lynn-heart), which is... well, i'm not sure.

So do I. My dad's mom was named Ruth, too. I was lucky enough to know her, though. She was a real sweetie. Never touched a drop of liquor in her life. Made the best pies I ever tasted.

Oh yeah, she pretended not to know that my dad drank like a fish. And I don't know for sure, but I think he believed it.

Not that anyone cares, but mine is Ruth because of my paternal g-ma who died a few months before I was born.

[Yoder]

Is there any story behind it? Is it a traditional given name, a family name? I've never heard it.
GypsyDeath Posted - 06/29/2004 : 17:00:22

I really wish I ahd a middle name. I dotn think my mu was creative enough for a middle name...too much hassle to think of a first. Which is odd, since im an only child!

But hers is Barbara, so im lucky I guess!

I love the name Damian (id spell it like that i think..i prefer it with the a). IF I had children, (which would be boys, cos i hate girls), id call them damien and Thurston,. hehe.
