and i see yahoo has increased their inbox size to 100MB, which i assume is a response to GMail.....

So, is it like a special club you have to be invited to join? Do you have to learn any virtual hand-shakes or wear special jewelry? Are bikers involved? 'Cause I'm not into the biker scene.....

It's also built more around search/archive than around folders/delete and uses Google's same search powers within your inbox. Also, conversations (replies to replies to replies to...) are kept grouped together so you can review the history of a conversation any time. Finally, there are 'labels' which are like keywords for email and sort of a replacement for the folder. So instead of having to put emails about x & y in either folder x or y, you could label it with both and then when you search for x, y, or x & y, it will come up.
Think email crossed with bulletin board crossed with functional searching. :)

Yahoo was directing gmail to spam/bulk folder for awhile, but my tests indicate that has been fixed.

Don't try sending emails to any hotmail accounts (and yahoo, possibly others) for a while. Apparently those mail services are blocking/disappearing Gmail mail....that's an awkward phrase. |
