This explosion is huge. Larger than the Earth itself. And it's real. It's when that comet collided with Jupiter in 94...I find this really cool..

isn't that amazing?! It's pretty low quality and was on an infrared camera..but I still think it's amazing. I think you probably will too. Very cool stuff.

Ah, and the other bright glowy things are impact sites of the other parts of the comet. I'm sure most of you remember this...

Pretty cool. Was this the only video released to the public?

Wasn't there a more recent GIANT black cloud/explosion - about 2 weeks after the Galileo probe was "dropped" into its atmosphere? Peple were concerned that the size of the explosion might indicate there was a nuclear detonation.
